At least five houses were burnt and seven persons reportedly killed when Local vigilante group trained by ONELGA Security And Planning Advisory Committee (OSPAC) clashed with suspected Deygbam cult members on Monday July 29,2019 in Ndele community in Emohua local Government area of Rivets State this medium gathered.
The suspected cultists our source revealed had on Sunday reportedly burnt the house of one Chief Marcus Atata and house belonging to four other vigilante members on allegations that they are working with the Police to ensure their arrest.
Revelation Agents learnt that the local vigilante members in conjunction with the Police stormed the camp of the suspected cultists who are believed to be responsible for kidnapping along Ndele -Rumuji East West road of the local Government.
A native of the community revealed to our reporter that in exchange of gunfire ,seven of the hoodlums were killed.
The spokesperson of Rivers state Police command Nnamdi Omoni is yet to respond to text messages sent to him by our reporter as at the time of filling this report.
