Two Police officers attached to a liquor company was killed this Monday morning July 1,2019 at Timber/Ojoto street Mile 2 Diobu,PortHarcourt, Rivers state,Nigeria
We learnt that the gunmen suspected to be armed robbers double crossed the Police officers who was conveying money belonging to a Liquor company located at Nwachukwu/Ojoto street Mile 2 Diobu to bank.
Our source said the gunmen opened fire killing the two Police Officers and carted away the money and their riffles.
Nnamdi Omoni spokesperson of Rivers state Police command is yet to respond to text messages sent to him by our reporter on the incident
Residents were seen discussing in group when our reporter visited the scene
Some many residents confirmed the incident to us
It will be recalled that an official of Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) was killed on Thursday at Choba axis of Obi/Akpor Rivers state by unknown gunmen
