Combined team of Navy, Army and Airforce under the umbrella of Operation Lafiye Dole late hours of Yesterday January 19,2019 killed five BokoHaram Terrorists and recovered three AK 47 riffles, One anti-aircraft gun Revelation Agents has learnt.
Confirming the incident, the Deputy Director of Army Public Relations, Colonel Onyema Nwachukwu in a statement issued Today said the terrorists who came with two gun trucks,a suicide bomber and Improvised Explosive Device(IED) laden vehicle wanted to infiltrate the troops position in northern part of Borno state in Nigeria but suffered heavy casualties as troops engaged them in a fierce battle neutralizing five of the terrorists in the process and also destroying the gun truck.
The the statement said three AK 47 riffles were recovered while the suicide bomber was also neutralized
