Presidential Candidate Vows To Increase Minimum wage To 100,000 Naira

The Presidential candidate of African Action Congress party Omoyele Sowore has promised to increase the minimum wage of workers to 100,000 thousand if elected the President of the Nigeria in 2019 General elections.

Sowore made this assertion while fielding questions in a Television programme today monitored by Revelation Agents Online News in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.

He said “there is no places in the world were workers are paid minimum wage of 18,000 naira”.

He noted that the priority of Nigeria Government is to pay themselves. Sowore asserted that it was important will pay attention to our workers

He said “there is enough money in the country to pay workers 100,000 naira minimum wage”.

Another Presidential candidate Kingsley moghalu  of Young Progressive Party said “payment of 18,000 naira minimum wage is nonsense”.

He asserted that He will carry out research to know  the exact minimum wage to suit the Nigeria workers.
