Profile Of Suspected Kidnap Kingpin Who Was Released By The Army After Killing 3 Police Officers
Reports reaching Revelation Agents indicates that the suspected kidnapper Alhaji Hamisu who was freed when soldiers allegedly opened fire on Police Officers who arrested him is 35 years of age, left school in 2004.He has four wives and unsuccessfully ran for Ibi state constituency of Taraba State House of Assembly in 2018.
Alhaji Hamisu was arrested by the Intelligence Response Team of Inspector General Of Police last week in Ibi in Taraba state but was freed when Soldiers attached to 93 battalion in the state attacked the Police officers Killing three in the process.
The Nigerian Army in a statement released by its spokesperson Col.Musa Sagir explained that the Soldiers mistook the Police officers for kidnappers a claim the Nigerian Police through its spokesperson Frank Mba dismissed. Frank Mba in a statement urged Nigerians to ask the Army the where about Alhaji Hamisu who they claimed to rescue. The Police wondered how a suspect properly restrained by handcuff will escape from the soldiers. The Chief of Defense Staff General Abayomi Olunishakin in line with President Muhammadu Buhari’s directive inaugurated a committee to investigate the incident. The committee is made up of one person each from Department of State Service (DSS), Police, Army, Defence Intelligence Agency .
