Information available at the disposal of Revelation Agents indicates that rattled by the continous onslaught on their camps, by Police and other security personnel,the Greenland and Iceland Cult members the two major cult groups in Ahoada East and West Local Government Areas of Rivers State are now pushing to be granted amnesty to avoid their doom’s day.
We learnt that the cultists who are now in disarray due to sustained raid on their base by the Police Divisions in Ahoada East and West have started approaching some elites in the region to plead that they should be granted amnesty.
Our reporter learned that the cultists decide to push for amnesty to possibly avert their doom’s day.Our source disclosed that some of the elites approached by the cult leaders are reluctant to approach the Government and the Police Authority to plead for amnesty for the cultists as some of the stakeholders are of the view that many of the criminals went back to crime after the State Government granted them amnesty in 2019.
We reliably gathered that the dismantling of cult camps shortly after redeployment of SP Bako Angbashim and other seasoned crime fighter to Ahoada Police Division and Akinima Police Division respectively by CP Emeka Nwonyi,left the criminal elements in confused state.
‘General’ 2baba had in a recent interview pledged to work with Government and the Police to tackle crime if approached while denying indulging in criminal activities.
Recall that in the last few days Police and the Military has raided camps of ‘General’ Danger, ‘General’ Odereike, ‘General’ 2 baba and ‘General’ Worldwide, recovering arms,ammunition and other dangerous weapons.
Also recall that the Commissioner of Police in Rivers State,CP Emeka Nwonyi disclosed in his maiden press briefing that his mission to Rivers State is to eradicate crime and criminality,a policy statement security analysts say is being actualize by the CP.
