The Commissioner of Police,CP Olatunji Disu has commended the Police Community Relations Committe(PCRC),Rivers State Chapter as the organization marked its forty year anniversary across all the Divisions, commanda,zone and the country at large.
CP Disu made the commendation when PCRC,Rivers State Chapter lee by its Chairman Voke Emore paid him a courtesy visit at the command’s headquarters Moscow road PortHarcourt on Wednesday 17,2024 during an event to mark the forty year anniversary.
The Rivers Police Boss disclosed that PCRC has a bride between the Police and the community has assisted the state command with useful informations in crime fighting and enbarked on selfless service for the Police.
CP Disu said the PCRC Rivers state is execeptional and also contribucted in the award of Best Command Commissioner of Police he won
The Rivers Police Chief further stated that the award is for all Police officers in the command who work tirelessly to ensure a crime free state.
The Chairman of PCRC in the state Voke Emore said the organization is celebrating forty year of selfless service.Mr Emore said PCRC in Rivers State has been very active before he came on board as the Chairman.
The PCRC Chairman stated that the partnership between the Police and the community in terms of actionable intelligence yielded many result as evident in successes recorded by the Rivers State Police.
The Rivers PCRC Boss also felicitated with CP Disu on the award as Best Command Commissioner of Police while adding that security has greatly improved in the state.
Our correspondent reports that the PCRC members walked from Old GRA through Bank road to Police headquarters were they were received by the Commissioner of Police amd members of his management team .
